Pickle’s Painting provides one of the most effective and economical processes to refinish your worn cabinets. The cabinet painting process normally takes several days from start to finish. Our team of highly experienced professionals will treat your home like it’s our home.

Space Preparation
The 1st step is to remove all doors, drawer fronts, and panels. All removalable components will be prepped and painted in the shop using the same process as the bases. This is done so that we disrupt your home space as little as possible.
Next, we install a zip wall system to ensure that we keep a clean workspace. Our team will tape and paper the areas to be finished. Additionally, we use dustless sanders with vacuum systems to contain dust. Exhaust fans and filters are connected to catch airborne particles.

Painting Bases in Place
Cabinet bases are painted in place. This avoids any damage caused by uninstalling and reinstalling the cabinets. Countertops, sinks and fixtures remain in place during the process.
All exterior surface areas are sanded and primed with oil based primer. The surface is also lightly sanded and cleaned to remove dust in between each coat.
Pickle’s Painting uses Italian based paints from one of the best cabinet companies in the U.S. Two coats of paint are applied in addition to the primer to achieve a long lasting, durable cabinet finish.

Final Touches
The cabinet doors, drawer fronts and panels are transported back to the home. This is the perfect time to upgrade your drawer slides, hinges and hardware. We can install new soft-close drawer slides and hinges, no show hinges and new hardware if desired. Drawers are reassembled. Doors and panels are installed.
We remove the zip system, clean up the kitchen and workspace so the family can enjoy the newly updated kitchen.
